Reimo Multi-rail Gutter Kit for VW T4 & T5 vans
The Reimo Multirail gutter kit provides the parts to fit a gutter to your van to enable a drive away awning or sun canopy to be attached, we offer specific kits for the VW T4 & VW T5 models.
Standard kits are for right hand drive vans with the sliding door on the left hand side, kits are available for customers wishing to fit one to the right hand side (T4 only).

- The aluminium rail is attached with self tapping screws and a layer of sealant between the rail and the body, the moulded plastic end fittings are fitted with a special adhesive (supplied ).
All kits come complete with the rail, both front and rear moulded profiles, screws and sealant.

Pole and clamp kit
A pole and clamp kit suitable for use with all awnings that feature a sleeve on the edge of the attachment tunnel , the four piece pole measures 3 metres when assembled which will be plenty long enough for all awnings on the market (the pole can be cut down in length if required ).Supplied in the kit are 5 clamps.

Driveaway connection kit
This kit facilitates the connection of a driveaway tent awning to a standard C section gutter rail , it consists of 250cm of 6mm double edge beading (6mm diameter piping on both edges) plus 3 pieces of 75 cm long figure of 8.
The double edge beading is designed to slide into the C section gutter rail , the free edge of the beading is then connected to the awning with some figure of 8 connection strips, (to use this system the awning must have a piped edge to attach the figure of 8). The Driveaway feature then works by removing the figure of 8 pieces to disconnect and reconnect the awning.

Aluminium gutter rail
An aluminium profile that will accept 6mm diameter piping , ideal for campers that do not have a gutter but have a flat suface that a rail can be fitted to ,this will need to be used inconjunction with the driveaway connection kit and figure of 8.
The mounting flange will require a depth of 25 mm to attach , it can be cut to length and will require mounting holes drilling.(supplied in a length of 290 cm)

Draught Strip Kit
This kit is designed to stop a draught blowing under your van and into your awning.
It consists of a piece of aluminium channel (supplied length 183 cm )that has to be cut to the length of the vans sill and then screwed or riveted to the sill, some customers prefer to make a pair of simple brackets to hang the rail out of the way under the sill.
A piece of groundsheet material (50 cm deep and 300cm long) with a piped edge is supplied, this is slid into the channel and pegged to the ground, the material can easily be trimmed to your preferred length.
